Alameda Point celebrates stars and stripes with history as a former naval air station. It was de-commissioned in 1997. That’s when we started producing our outdoor monthly antiques faire on the jet runways. From 1949 to 1953, the Navy based the Lockheed R6V Constitution—the largest airplane ever at NAS Alameda. After the base closed, the USS Hornet became a museum ship and is a popular attraction for Alameda Point today. Alameda’s 4th of July parade brings thousands of patriotic Americans to the hometown spectacle every year. Films of the Hollywood “golden era” are often filled with images of a glamorous starlet primping for an evening out on the town, in front of a stunning & dreamy vanity table. These tables went out of fashion in recent decades, but are now making a big comeback. Sure, you don’t actually need one — not in the way you need a bed, a couch, or a closet full of vintage shoes. Rockin’ Vintage at Rock Wall Wine Company

The fall 2013 edition of the semi-annual Alameda Point Vintage Fashion Faire was a Halloween style bash lined with barrels of wine. The event was held for the first time at Rock Wall Wine Company on Friday night, October 18 & Saturday, October 19th.  It was the biggest Vintage Fashion Faire yet with more dealers and close to 1,000 attendees. The crowds flocked in to shop for glamorous vintage, jewelry, men’s suits and more. They bought VFF fashion tote bags and filled them with quality vintage clothing from every decade. We proudly announce a new venue for the fall Alameda Point Fashion Vintage Faire with a “Halloween” costume contest at historic Alameda Point. The fall event will be held at Rock Wall Wine Company and is located on the former Alameda Naval Air Base, which was decommissioned in 1997.  This location is neighbors of our monthly Alameda Point Antiques Faire drawing over 10,000 shoppers and 850 booths every month and Michaan’s Annex Auctions warehouse. We are celebrating a new season! Spring fever is in the air. It's time to start bringing out the flirty frocks for springtime. We all do this at home, we store away our winter clothes like heavy winter coats & boots and switch to a new colorful spring palette.
