We have a BIG show planned at the Alameda Point Antiques Faire for Sunday, July 3rd! We have dealers booked all the way in the back in rows to double EE. We have signed up new recruits who have never sold with us before so you can be sure to find plenty of bargains & treasures galore to stock up on, so pick up a shopping cart at the gate and be prepared to fill it to the rim! Get your walking shoes ready and plan to spend the whole day because there will plenty of vintage goods to peruse for your patriotic pleasure. Need a new frock for your 4th of July party?  We have everything a vintage lover needs for your holiday plans- from hanging on the beach to chilling at a barbecue to painting the town for fireworks! There are multitudes of ways to incorporate red, white and blue into your wardrobe, no matter what your patriotic plans are.

Calling all beach babes, plan to hit the beaches of Alameda after the faire. Indulge in some of our many international culinary delights at the show. Buy a picnic basket and stock it with some baked goodies to go. Don’t forget to pick up a free copy of The Point magazine with a show directory to find your favorite dealers with a map included. In the July issue, my Vintage Style Solutions column is all about Retro Swimwear. The dress code doesn’t just mean teeny-weeny bikinis (phew!). So take home some tips & take a dip after walking our epic holiday show at one of Alameda’s charming beach spots. See why the locals love island living.

All American glamour is never out of style. The Alameda Point Antiques Faire is Americana at it’s best, bringing back the very things you love most about growing up in this great nation. Not to mention, we are located on a former naval air station! How patriotic is that? Explore the former base while you’re visiting the faire on Sunday & feel the history.

Mark your calendars for the fall Vintage Fashion Faire at the O’ Club… As in Officer’s Club. That’s where they wined and dined on the base. There will be 3 historic ballrooms of fabulous vintage fashion with some of our top clothing & jewelry dealers on Saturday, October 22, from 10AM-5PM. Friday night will be a special preview party for adults only, (21 & older) from 6PM-9PM with a Halloween Costume Contest held on Friday 10/21. Limited tickets available with special entertainment & spirits. Details to come-Save the dates!
