Welcome to the Alameda Point Antiques Faire.

President

Located on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, Alameda Point was formerly the Alameda Naval Air Station. With its stunning panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline, the Bay Bridge, Marin County, the Oakland Port facility, and the sparkling waters of San Francisco Bay, the old aircraft runways provide an ideal site for what is certainly the most scenic antique show in the world.

Now in its 12th year of operations this event, held on the 1st Sunday every month is host to over 10,000 antique buyers who converge here to search over 800 antique dealer booths for the widest array of antiques and collectibles to be found anywhere on the west coast. Browse our photo gallery to get a flavor of the amazing quality and variety of merchandise offered as well as to view the beautiful locale of the Antiques Faire site.

The Antiques Faire has been named as one of best antiques shows in the nation and a visit to our “Media Center Page” will give you and idea of how well reviewed our event has become. We attract visitors, both shoppers and sellers alike, from all over the United States and are often a favorite destination for tour groups from other nations.

The City of Alameda is geographically located at the center of the Bay Area and is only a 20-minute drive from San Francisco, a 45-minute drive from San Jose and only about a 30-minute drive from Marin County. Ferries that run from San Francisco and Marin County also serve the Antiques Faire and the Ferry Terminal is only ½ mile from the entrance to our parking lot, and we are only 15 minutes from the Oakland Airport.

The City of Alameda is an island community that boasts one of the largest collections of restored Victorian homes on the west coast. The entire southern side of Alameda has beautiful beaches that are very popular for windsurfers and swimmers who enjoy the warm bay waters. On this website click “Alameda Info” to get hotel and restaurant listings and links to interesting things to do while visiting our community. There are also printable discount coupons for local businesses to be found here.

While at the Antiques Faire, check out the great variety of food that is available for your enjoyment. We have tried to assemble the best possible array of International Cuisine choices and you will certainly find something to your liking.

Amenities at the Antiques Faire include free parking, free shuttle service from the parking lot to the show entrance, courtesy flat cart use to move large objects, customer loading zones, shopping cart rentals, a customer lounge, ample portable toilet facilities and hundreds of friendly and knowledgeable antique dealers who travel to world to find treasures for you to bring home a future heirloom.

And remember furnishing with antiques is a “green” practice and helps save the environment. Every piece of furniture or art that is reused represents a saving of national resources.

Our antiques faire is presented by Michaan’s Auctions and there is always our monthly estate auction commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Antiques Faire days, in our luxurious auction house facility adjacent to the Antiques Faire. Our parking lot shuttle travels to the auction gallery every hour.

Also on the faire event day is the Auction Preview for our Annex Auction, which takes place on the Tuesday and Wednesday following the faire. 1800 lots are offered with most lots having no reserve.

Check out our catalogs at www.michaans.com and plan to spend a day antiquing at the faire and auction in Alameda.

We hope that you visit us here in beautiful Alameda and I am confident that after your first visit you will become a regular attendee of the Alameda Point Antiques Faire.

See you at the Point!
